William Paul Warren, 81, of Boston Height, died October 1, 2005 at the Hudson Elms Nursing Home in Hudson.
He was born October 17, 1923 in Akron, Ohio and worked in the advertising field in Sales Promotion. Mr. Warren served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Wendell L. Wilkie Post 19 American Legion, The Coventry Lodge 83 F&AM in Akron, Yusef Khan Grotto, Cuyahoga Falls Commandery, Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Al Koran Shriners, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Canton and the Sumit Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Grace (née Trout) Warren, and is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (née Yurkowsky); brother, Robert G. Warren; brother-in-law, William Yurkowsky; nephews, Robert F. Warren, Richard S. Warren and Michael Yurkowsky; and niece, Melanie (Jim) Menke.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity. Services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Romito, A Golden Rule Funeral Home (Rte. 82 one mile west of Rte. 8), Northfield Ctr., Ohio (330-468-1443), where friends will be received Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial at Fairview Cemetery.
