John V. Yanak passed away at the family home on Saturday, March 6, 2004.
John is survived by his wife, Francina (nee Dempsey); his daughters, Carrie LeBeau, Michele Gunther (Dan), Christine, and Suzanne; his son, John A. (Stacey); five grandchildren; brother, James; sisters, Joan Chester, Bernice Dodds, and Sr. Sharon Anne, C.S.A.; and was the uncle of many.
Friends may call at the family home, 7212 Colesbrooke Dr., Boston Heights, Ohio, for visitation Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 44 University Ave. (Broadway and State Street), Akron, Ohio. The family suggests memorials in his name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, the Gathering Place, or the Independence Consortium. Arrangements by Ferfolia Funeral Home.
